I'd say impaled for short term definitely, but I'm finding that 'bonked on the head' can be pretty long aftermath, and possibly permanent for some people. So I guess it depends on the severity.

Is that how he survived? There were reports saying he was possibly was ejected. There was also a video about the plane having power failures on the previous flight prior to the final flight leading to the crash. Makes you wonder why they put it back in service.

Yeah dunno, sounds sketchy even if you are by the emergency door, how do you know its going to crash. Didnt have a whole lot of time from when it lost power and started dropping to open the door. Plus you'd think there would be safeguards to prevent it from being opened in flight.

 

I’ve been watching this channel Pilot Debrief on YouTube, former f-15 and f18 pilot and current airline captain. He goes over facts of different airline incidents. You’d be amazed how many bad/stupid decisions are made that result in crashes.

 

Afternoon all finishing touches on the Honey stand been a busy week. Back to work tomorrow and then I’ll be off book for a bit you all behave your selves see you all next week with some story’s

 

I took ground school about 10 years ago. For the last class, they broke down the bad decision point of several high profile crashes, the most memorable being JFK Jr with his wife and SIL. Amazing how bad decisions can compound to the point of no return..
