The company I work for is trying to offload a Ford Explorer that needs work if you all know of anyone (Facebook ad):

 

Old school 275 amp Miller ACDC welder generator 2 cylinder Onan engine. It's been in our warehouse or dads shed for 40 years. Only been used about 5 hours since we've owned it. Last time it was used by me 15 years ago and worked great after a fresh oil change, fresh gas and cleaning oxidation off of stator slip rings with some 1000 grit sandpaper. It's a work horse that will always do the job. No integrated electronics to burn out do to heat and vibrations. Operating RPMs is 1800 for generator and welding. Needs the dust blown off it and is set up to use vehicle battery for starter. We always set a battery next to it.
$400.00.
There's close to that in just copper windings scrap price.

I've been thinking about buying one of these skid plates how did you get that price to come up? I looked on the Fred Haus website and it's priced at $380.

 

Toyota has sales all the time. I think that was a 10% or 15% off parts sale. Hold out, they'll probably have another sale around the 4th of July.

 

Does anyone have a cot tent style set up they are looking to get ride of ? I want to try something different over a rtt

 

Id keep an eye out on the fourth, usually some discounts pop up.
I paid $280 shipped for mine a couple months ago from a dealer in NC that had a 25% off plus free shipping


my guess would be someone in marketing didnt think out the free shipping on larger items but not my problem

Thank you, both, for the helpful replies. I'll keep an eye out for coupons and private sales. I'd seen one or two pop up for sale (not on this site) but the price was so close to a new one it made no sense.
