1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

It was a nightmare when we were setting up, our TV compound is on an old golf hole they turned into a field but we were getting torrential downpours for a few days. Couldn't get anywhere without mud getting on our gear, or on our clothes. They had to take plywood and throw it on the ground in front of the catering tent because it was just a total mudpit.

It's been really nice weather the first few days of the tournament, but it's going to be raining today and tomorrow so those golfers are up for a challenge.

There is a lot of truth to the saying "Southern fried & northern steamed." We're doing Thanksgiving at my aunt's in Harrisburg this year, I'm considering buying a Bojangles fried turkey on the way up haha. Or at least bringing some seasoning. Food can be pretty bland North of the VA border. Also, the sweet tea stops around there too...

I remember there being a short stretch before the gate but damn why were they speeding

 

It’s right at the turn onto the bridge from the main road. So he must have taken that turn going 90mph like a dumbass and flew right off the side. Had they hit that stone pillar right there they’d all be dead

 

That main road goes up into the mountains after our development, long twisting turning cliff side highway so some idiots love flying up there at full speed. At least once every week or two you get emergency vehicles going up there followed by a helicopter responding to some crash or another

 

I noticed today that AI in many groups on FB have made a new thread today.

Meta just collecting more data based on the many replies?
