Been a minute as life got in the way. So got back to doing some wrenching. The added PowerPoint doesn't come with instructions but with it as it deletes the air bag key it had a pass side airbag fault. I took the module off the OEM PowerPoint housing hoping it could fit behind it, sadly it was too bulbous.
    IMG20250430180403.jpg
So what ended up being the solution was to take the housing apart and remove the board. Once plugged in and key on fault went away so I just wrapped in some electrical tape and so far so good.
    IMG20250430180355.jpg
Next I installed the fuel pressure gauge. I needed to modify the stock one as I plan to retain the grab handle.
    IMG20250503161802.jpg
Added a hole for the wires. Even stepped up to the largest step but I got the hole needs to be larger when I add the egt gauge. IMG20250503163550.jpg
Audio shop added this screw for the handle, not sure why. Might need to notch the gauge housing in the future.
    IMG20250503165658.jpg
    IMG20250503171416.jpg
After some massaging I got it fit nicely.
    IMG20250503175104.jpg
Mocked up in the truck. The backside has a brace that makes it difficult to reinstall with the gauge housing on it. It could also perhaps be too low mounted. I plan on getting a second set and try again.
    IMG20250503175512.jpg
Proposed setup for egt and fuel psi.
    IMG20250509190118.jpg
Next was to get the plug out of the fuel filter housing. Tight fit with everything in the way.
    IMG20250509190854.jpg
This is the adapter for the fuel psi sensor.
    IMG20250509191450.jpg
    Adapter in.
    IMG20250509191946.jpg
Your able to sneak a deep 22mm on the sensor.
    IMG20250509191946.jpg
    Extension's are your friend.
    IMG20250509192736.jpg
    Plugged in and leak free.
    IMG20250509195041.jpg
    IMG20250509195104.jpg
Ran a old shirt hanger to pull the wires
    IMG20250509195408.jpg
    IMG20250509202255.jpg
    Works good.
    IMG20250510124437.jpg
To finish up the install I needed to modify the fuse box cover in order to clear the expandable circuits.
    IMG20250510124903.jpg
    Finished cover.
    IMG20250510130617.jpg
Cover clears now. Minus the dimmer install is complete with two other plugs available for the future planned egt gauge and a possible 3rd one like transmission temp.
    IMG20250518122242.jpg
Lastly I painted the console cover as it had some faded paint in areas. I color matched it with OEM exterior paint.
    IMG20250518172336.jpg
Looks better than when I started but as it's textured I think the clear makes it look a little off. I might try again with just paint no clear or try and find a smooth one.

Odawg intake manifold came in. Looks very nice and will be a great supporting mod.

Got this bullet proof diesel oil cooler coolant adapter. It allows the uses of normal hose vs the special hose that Ford implements.
    IMG20250612165113.jpg
New xdp water pump bolts and heater hose oring for the intake manifold install.

    IMG20250612165159.jpg
I am contemplating on getting a new OEM style oil cooler, ppe for example, to replace/upgrade while in there.

Intake manifold gaskets came in so minus the regulated fuel return, the parts can be installed.

Got the front windshield molding so now I can get the roof repainted and maybe some other minor stuff. Mostly I wanna get rid of the tie downs on the bedside. I do not understand why someone would install such a redundant thing when there are stake holes. So most likely next month is when I'll drop the truck off and start getting it to look proper. This is also testing the quality of the shop as if they do good then they will be tasked in the full respray on the Tacoma.

Went to the junkyard to walk around and think about some ideas. I have been wanting to upgrade my seats. I could swap from a new model if available for something with heated seats and possibly add a cooling fan. Maybe better material. The limitations of this plan are the seat belts. Some extended cab seats have the seat belt implemented into it. Others have it where it's not integrated into the seat but it's either mounted on the doors or mounted on the cab somewhere.
    IMG20250628132019.jpg
    IMG20250628132025.jpg
I found this truck, 99-04 f250, where the seat belts are bolted to the cab. So if I find seats I could possibly swap to this restraint method. I don't know if my cab has the holes for it. It should but I will need to look into it.
    IMG20250628132336.jpg
    IMG20250628132347.jpg
Something something-insert just a tip joke.
    IMG20250628132613.jpg
    Found this rad stoner van.
    IMG20250628132630.jpg
I'm sure it was quite the unit back in the day but now you need gloves.
    IMG20250628132641.jpg

It had a save game icon button in 3D
    IMG20250628132713.jpg
    IMG20250628132737.jpg
I found is very interesting 8 lug wheel. I'm not sure if it's a 8x170 but it uses the flat style washer like an OEM wheel uses and I think it's one of those vintage slot mag wheels like they talk about on roadkill? I think it was too small for my truck but interesting.
    IMG20250628133736.jpg
In the yard they had maybe 4 6 L trucks, a couple duramax's, and 4 Cummins trucks. So I started to see what was available this was a '04 and a half to 07 6 L and you can tell by the oil manifold for the injectors it's been picked pretty clean.
    IMG20250628133741.jpg
They took out the high pressure oil pump everything else it seems they left behind I found a timing cover and turbo and all that inside the cab.
    IMG20250628134030.jpg
    IMG20250628134221.jpg
Inside the guts of the vgt turbo. Vanes moved but the shaft was seized.
    IMG20250628134344.jpg
Found a extended cab seat but it was open to the elements so the mechanism is rusted and as this was a base model it's non-powered seat compared to my powered seat on the driver side so can't use this. I might come back for that horn airbag assembly though.
    IMG20250628134409.jpg
Another 6.0 this one is a '03 to early 04 as you can tell by that hose in the back of the head for the oil manifold for the injectors.
    IMG20250628134420.jpg
    IMG20250628134503.jpg
Oil cooler and timing cover gone.
    IMG20250628134547.jpg
I then found this truck it was a '05 to '07 F350 XL and it was a company truck I think for crane stuff but as you can see the engine is painted red and it had head bolts not studs which I find weird but maybe they're on a budget I don't know. I found a good opportunity to investigate the engine and to remove the oil cooler assembly as a whole for my future plans to swap in a new oil cooler when I install the intake manifold with @Torspd .
    IMG20250628134553.jpg
    IMG20250628134557.jpg
So here is the oil cooler housing and normally on top of this is the oil filter housing and the fuel filter housing these cost about 200 bucks so I was going to see you if I could use it.
    IMG20250628135059.jpg
Wow the oil cooler was new and it was a OEM oil cooler sadly because it was left uncovered there was some water in it and I do not believe I can trust it so most likely our opt to get a new OEM cover with a PPE cooler with a gasket set. On the bright side the install is quite easy as well as their removal once the intake manifold is out. This also shows where the big o ring goes between the timing cover and the intake manifold. You can also see this plastic screen that goes into the high pressure oil pump and I wish someone made an all metal one but there is not one available unless you convert to the bulletproof diesel oil cooler where it uses a high quality mesh with wire ties to retain it.
    IMG20250628135130.jpg
    IMG20250628135221.jpg
Found is vintage motorcycle racing box truck with a ramp. Pretty dope.
    IMG20250628135411.jpg
    IMG20250628135431.jpg
Found @Torspd a welding rig, it's got air bags, a Cummins, and tanks. Might be a ether baby.
    IMG20250628140034.jpg
    @BassAckwards you need Lexus bro
    IMG20250628140614.jpg
    Found an e36 for @Torspd

Some critters have caught at home in the past but had some parts that we could use
    IMG20250628141759.jpg
Score for today. There were not a lot of Toyota trucks mostly just a few first gen tundras. No tacomas, I think one or two third gen 4runners and that that was it.

Got these bulbs in, they were pricey but hopefully are better then the OEM ones. I still need to look into new housings for the truck.

Comparison with the OEM and the new led. Seems brighter but I do need new headlight housings. Just need to tidy up the wiring.
