Lando displays why he won't win the drivers championship.

Backed out going into the chicane, then cracked and went for a move that was never there.

When the pressure ramps up, Lando flails.

Lucky it was a Button/Lewis Canada and not a Max/Danny Ric Baku.

Brad's a friend of mine, and I don't disagree with him. There's no way the coinciding start times was accidental. I wouldn't be surprised to see the start time change before the race actually gets here.

 

I think the difference between Lando and Oscar are that Oscar seems to let the car, the race, and everything else come to him, where Lando is pushing too hard too keep up, sometimes beyond his ability. I know he's under a lot of pressure, but that attempted pass was just crazy.

Oscar is the clear favorite for this year's driver's title. Lando will finish 2nd. The jury is still out whether Max (or George) will finish 3rd.

 

I think a big part of that with Lando is between the ears. There has been a noticeable change in his demeanor and attitude the past couple of years, he used to actually be pretty funny and lighthearted. Now he's a lot more woe is me and a bit of a sad sack. I understand that pressure gets to everyone and it's hard living your life on public display all the time, but with Lando it seems like there's such a desire to be liked by everyone, including other drivers on the grid and just being honest here but that comes at a detriment when talking about his buddy Max, we've seen it enough times by now.

Oscar on the other hand is a fucking serial killer and I mean that as an absolute compliment.

 

Lando for sure has had insecurity and mental issues in his past and this definitely holds him back.
Oscar on the other hand has Mark fighting in his corner for him and I’m sure has lots of stuff in Oscars contract relating to ‘multi 21’.
I mean Oscars entrance to F1 started with a huge FU to Renault which was pretty ballsy. Oscars mentality and skills are pretty damn strong and will likely win him the DC this year.
Time will tell…
