    Bought a 97 Tacoma 3.4L, Manual, 4wd with 280,000 miles.
On top of the many things i’m replacing I plan on replacing some suspension components.
I’m not looking to do much off-roading and i’m happy with the height of the truck.
I was wondering if anyone knew a Kit that sold “everything” I would need for a basic refresh such as shocks, LBJ’s, leaf springs, etc.
First time poster, thanks for the help!

    Welcome!

The only “complete” kits that I’m aware of are from companies like Icon and I imagine you don’t want to pay that much.

If you’re keeping things close to stock, I’d say:
    -LBJ and UBJ buy OEM
-I bought new control arms from RockAuto instead of pressing new bushings into my old ones. You can go either way with this.
-I bought the Old Man Emu kit which includes assembled coilovers, shocks, leaf springs, shackles, and U-bolts (~2.5” lift).

Most here go with Bilstein 4600s for stock height or Bilstein 5100s if you have a mild lift. I would only replace the leafs if they’re broken or your back end looks too low.

There are a ton of threads on this exact topic, so if you search here or on Google, you’re bound to find exactly what you need.

New OEM control arms with bushings installed are around $200 per side, pressing them in or out would have added at least 6 hours to my project, it was worth it. Dig around suspensionlifts.com, I'm running their 4 corner set, moog springs on assembled coilovers as close as possible to stock, Bilstein 4600's all around. They have leaf sets too.

The attached price comparison from 2023 should give you a decent start on where to get OEM parts (McGeorge/now Ourisman is the clear winner.) Mine is an '03 and the parts numbers are probably incorrect but a lot of them will be the same for your '97.

I would check out the rack and rack bushings really well in case this rack is aging. At the very least swap out the rack bushings for ES red poly's, be sure to get ES grease for them so they don't squeak.
