My saw doesn't have the bulb ( like the weed whacker) so I guess that the full choke setting does the same thing as the primer bulb. I had no time to loo at it this weekend, I will get to it during the week.

Never heard of or seen a Rato. Is it from across the pond?

Anyone got experience with the HF Daytona floor jacks?
upload_2025-6-16_5-35-44.jpgI’m thinking of grabbing one since my 28 year old one is showing its age
upload_2025-6-16_5-36-46.jpgIt’s one of those old orange Pittsburgh or some such. It’s got steel wheels and they’re in need of some TLC or just retirement. It doesn’t lift as high as I want anyways

I've been thinking of buying that one. But waiting for a sale... or a 25% off coupon since I haven't been to HF in a while . . . :fingerscrossed:

Take a look at the Pittsburgh low profile, high lift. I have one and I love it. Can lift lower cars and the Tacoma just fine, and cheaper than the Daytona.

So that’s basically the same jack without the foot pedal release valve?

Yea, quite similar. I know it wasn't your original question, but figure I'd throw it out there just in case.

So I rabbit holed these jacks and even the ones from tractor supply and it looks like most of them are lift heights around 19-21” while the Daytona above has a 24” lift. Now to see about fenagling a coupon

Yes, I have that same jack and no complaints. Can't remember what I paid for it though.

I recently discovered that my MoJack from TSC wouldn't get under my 61" Scag Liberty-Z.. o_O
It gets under my 36" Liberty-Z just fine. But when I tried to put new blades on my 2 year old 61" about two months ago I found that there was a problem. :annoyed:

The roller at the center of the 61" Scag deck hits the crossmember between the wheel cradles of the
MowJack BEFORE the Scag's wheels get into the cradles... WTF. My older 36" fits just fine because it
    doesn't have that center roller.

Most definitely. It's allmost identical to the predator 670. The motor did not have the control/key base.

I took the starter controls off a predator engine sometimes ago. Installed it on the Rato today. I had not actually heard it run until today. I was pleased to see it started right up. I expected the engine to stumble at low idle because of dried fuel residues in the idle circuit of the carb.

Producing stellar voltage at an isle was nice to see as well.

Bought one just like that in blue last September. It was one of their 10 days of deals. Got it for $154, plus a free 5gal bucket (can't have too many of those). Only have used mine a couple times but I really like it.

I think I've had mine 10 years. Works the same as when I got it.
