    Happy Father’s Day.

does anyone here have a good thread they used for pulling and reinstalling their front diff? I’ve got the idea on how to do it, I just want something I can reference while I’m doing it. I’ve got a couple obstacles in my way that a normal Tacoma doesn’t have, so while I’m buried trying to work around that stuff I’d like something to reference so I don’t miss something stupid.

and those of you that have done it, is removing the two LBJ adapted bolts out of the spindle enough to let you pop the axles out of the diff? Or did you have to take the axle nut off and the axle out of the hub too?

I always pull the axles all the way out. Never tried leaving them in the hub, but that sounds like a nightmare of a time.

Pulling the diff is pretty straightforward, I can do it by myself in about 45 minutes.

LS Swap with RSG Tranzilla, Custom hi clearance front bumper, Relentless: Slider's, bed rails, rear bumper, Prinsu with 40" BD s8. Dirt Designs 3.5 LT. Archive Garage rear towers/shackle flip/SUA. King Air bumps. King LT Coilovers in front. King 12x2.5 in rear. ARB rear air locker and twin compressor. SCS f5's with 33" Ridge Grapplers. 20" S8 mounted in bumper, squadron sport fog lights, squadron pro backup lights, LP6's bumper mounted.
hopefully you can get your rear mount out without having to lift the engine, with the ls that’s been my only way to get it down. Remove the rear mount entirely than just lower it down with a jack.

i mounted the LS above my steering rack and slide rack, so I should have plenty of room to snake it out hopefully

    Trutrac ford 9” 3000$

If you buy both right now and get them out of my garage before I move.
I will give you a bigger deal

BUT I am packing my house rn since they decided to raise the rent, so on the 27th most of these parts I’m selling are disappearing to the east coast :anonymous:

So consider me a motivated seller lol
