    I'll have to check when I have time.

    Polarity shouldn't matter on a solenoid, it just needs power and ground.
    If your controlling the ground side with your aftermarket ECU why not just connect one wire to the ECU and supply fused ignition power to the other wire?

    This is true. Just want to be thorough with which wire is which. I had thought about just giving it a different 12v source, and letting the wire through the Haltech do it's job.

    @Speedytech7. A repeat verification question for you.

    The Stepper motor or DPO, in this case being used for the OCVs, should be controlling the ground side of the circuit, correct?

    As in 12v > into OCV coil > out/ground wire > into stepper/DPO ?

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Typically yes that is how they are controlled but I'm not familiar with second gens so much so stock wiring may not be like that (would be odd but they may positive side switch it). But if I was making a harness and wiring it to a standalone I'd have key on 12v to one side of the solenoid and ground side control it through a DPO/Step on the other.

    300 Hz @ idle from what I can measure in Pico 6.

    Just scoped all the OCV pins, can confirm they are Power side controlled on the OCV+ terminals.

    OCV- terminals stay at near 0v.

    I'll post the waveforms later tonight.

    Alright. I started Ohming out wires again. Referenced to the plug and the pinout assignment sheet. The sheet is correct with the 12v switched and to ground side. Weird though that Toyota has the + and - in the opposite orientation. Whatever, as that isn't a big deal.

    What I did find was that ohming out the driver side OCV from inside the cab, I would get 7.9 - 8.1 ohms.

    When doing the same with the passenger OCV, it was ~13.5 ohms. I found that odd. Went to double check each of those wires and found that there was no longer a reading...here's what I found.

    Looks like all of the rummaging through my engine bay countless times broke the wire and they were barely making any continuity.

    I tested the 12v switched power coming out of the OEM ecu, and it was all good. Now to get new plugs and clean up the wiring.

    You don't by chance have any links for this connector, that isn't RockAuto, do you? Or anyone for that matter.

    I found that one as well. Damn expensive pigtail. I am hoping that www.connectorsfast.com will have them. Except their website is down for maintenance.

    I'll call and see what they say tomorrow.

    Doesn't seem to matter the vehicle or connector, some are cheap some are expensive. Still cheaper than having to buy from somewhere like connector experts.

    By the way do you have a PC that can run Pico 6? I can put the raw waveform files in a zip and post it if you want.
