I followed the updated OR specific steps from Team Oil Drop and the brakes feel good after finishing the job.

The only thing that seems off has to do with when I start the truck. Before the flush, in the mornings, when I started the truck I have a distinct memory of the pedal firming up and then relaxing before I drove off. After performing the flush the pedal still does this in the morning but nothing happens the rest of the day. For the life of me I can't remember with 100% certainty the behavior of the pedal before the flush.

Should the pedal in fact change in stiffness each time the truck is started?

My OR has always done that. It has to do with the crawl control stuff.

    Sounds like it's working correctly.

Does the pedal change stiffness every time you start the truck or just when the truck has been sitting for a while?

I'm pretty sure it does it every time, but maybe not as noticeable unless its a cold start. It doesn't really change stiffness, but the truck like pulls the pedal away from you.

Yeah, it's a weird feeling to describe. The last couple of days it's only strong first thing, and then almost nothing the rest of the day. Might try one last bleed and see what happens

With all the sensors these trucks have, I'm sure it would be alerting you with a CEL or one of its awful beeps if it had any problems.
