Purchased a hitch plate to make it easier to move trailers around. Not high end, but it will work fine.

Didn't realize they made an attachment like that. I just got a cheapy hitch bolt on/add on for the bucket, which I like since it gets the job done and it takes up just sits on the shelf until I need it.

I thought about getting one of those bolt on ones, but this doesn't take up a lot of space (stands up with the hitch sitting on the ground or a board like a kickstand), and I can see the tongue better because the bucket isn't blocking visibility in the middle. Plus, I won't have to worry about the bucket flexing where it is bolted on.
I also ordered a quick attach pallet fork attachment, but it got delivered to the wrong house and I have to go get it later this week. Going to use that to lift plywood and shingles up to the scaffolding when I start replacing the roof on the house.
Next, I am going to be ordering a ripper for the backhoe since there are a lot of rocks here and it will be easier to break up an area for trenches than trying to get straight to digging.

If you ordered forks you don't really need that hitch attachment. All a person has to do is cut/drill a hole in the end of one of the forks for a ball to fit in, and you can move trailers around that way. Pick that up from a rental store company I used to do business with when I was a golf course superintendent.

The forks I bought have a receiver built in. I've never used it though.

I looked at one with the hitch, but I was able to get the pair for less $ than just the forks with the hitch.
I considered that, but a good bit of the trailer moving I need to do is on rough terrain. Having the ball on the forks could cause additional bouncing.

have these ..... & use them all the time for everything.

BUT also have the hitchplate version.... & i use it for my snowblade that mounts in the 2" receiver.

after both of those? most of the time move the trailers with the hitch on the back of my counter weight box. lol

    always good to have options!

As seen in the little town of New Palestine Indiana. I had a Samurai, it was a cool little truck and I wish I wouldn't have lost possession of it, but I wouldn't have turned it into this.

One of the best things for my backhoe has been that quick connect coupler and the bxpanded ripper. I've been able to switch easily when going between a trencher/bucket/ripper and the ripper is pretty good at breaking the root system of tree trunks!

Have been drinking a little bit and going back over some of my old stuff on YouTube. Came across this. It was one of my favorite times at a couple of jobs ago. I was superintendent and would go out and cut greens and do set up, and then come back to this which I enjoyed thoroughly.

We have a pond and everyone knows when it's feeding time. Pretty cool to see the turtles come off the island and make there way over for treats.

Crap. Why did you have to show me that?
The front plate worked great snaking the wood splitter down the hill and the small trailer into the clearing I cut into the hill.
Went up to the old house today and picked up the forks. Though it was an annoying experience as the upper radiator hose on the car blew off the radiator while I was in line to get gas. Clamp came loose and blew off. Getting a new hose and some SS t-bar clamps tomorrow.

Well the thermostat tested as defective but there is a bigger issue:
    003.HEIC.jpg
And no that is not a tear. That section of the head gasket is blown out. On the underside of the head behind the muffler so except for removing muffler to test thermostat, never saw the bad spot. Initial compression check was inconclusive due to shit compression tester and wasn't sure if this mower was equipped with a compression release. And the damn things started and ran when cold! With all the issues this engine had I'm amazed it was even able to start and run half-assed. I'm guessing because of the spot of the defect that the engine was running so hot the gasket finally crapped out. I'm now playing the 'waiting for parts' game again. My local shop usually has the common repair parts but they are backordered on nearly everything.
