The method @Sixthelement mentioned is the way, with the karate chops being essential...sides first, then the back..GFC also shows you this method at delivery.

A pull down strap also helps a lot in the process versus pulling on the tent fabric...

Hey guys, picked up a V2 for my Tundra. The Tundra forums barely have a community for people with GFC's so thought i'd pop in here. Read almost through the entire thread. Lots of great build outs, modifications, and advice.

I was curious if anyone was using a toolbox system like the Dewalt Toughbox or Milwaukee Packout for their interior buildouts. I use my bed a lot so dedicated drawers etc. won't work. Something I can grab and remove easily would be ideal. I would love to see pictures of other's setups using that or some sort of box i.e. Pelican, Plano, etc. too. Thanks!

6112's/5160's with Deaver stage 3, GFC camper, Evo 10S and home-built bed drawers. Solar w/100 Ah battery.
I recently checked out a Jeep that had Rigid toolboxes at a rear door and one side of the tail gate area. It looked pretty effective just being able to access the drawers for storage.

Unfortunately those forums are a bit of a mess. People including myself have also had issues making accounts to post. I still can't access mine. Appreciate the suggestion though.

    This is great, thanks!

I just had my GFC Topper installed!

Does anyone have any links to hooks or rails I can add to interior? I don't really want to spend even more on the freedom coast kits (Although they look top notch!). I'd like to add a net to the interior roof top if possible. As well as the general use of hanging things inside. Thanks!

I bought these. Seem to be working fine. Then bought some 1/8” aircraft cable from Home Depot.

The V2 rubber well nuts are 1/4-20, while the newer metal plus nuts are 5/16-18...no idea on the V1
