    Hey Chris, I have a question. I've been using a MAPA Gold filter and changed my oil for the first time using this filter. The truck had been sitting for about 4 days without starting. When unscrewing the filter I expected to see some oil draining out of the filter into the catch area. The filter had no oil in it. It was heaver than the the replacement but with no oil poring out. Does this mean that the valve that holds oil in the filter for start up is bad? Thanks, Don

    Yeah...As restrictive as the oil center tube looks, I wouldnt use it.

    The only filter that chris4x4 and I disagree on is the "Dyson Filter" vs the "Hoover" ... :)

    Outside of that ... he is the "professor of oil filters" ... :D
