John Deere loader bucket repair where the pins go. These are unobtainable from Deere. The piece that goes in them is $2k…..each

I got to play A/C repair guesser yesterday. My 12 year old Fujitsu heat pump isn’t blowing cold air anymore, only kind of cool ish. Did some messing around and I think the reversing valve is stuck. Talking to a few guys it makes sense to just replace the whole unit based on age.:spending:

    You know…
You would think a little pride would be inside you to at least tackle
    something the best you can.
Some of the stuff I see repaired and the cust likes it is beyond my fathom.
I know these are just bowling balls but, come on…

Another repair on the left, mine on the right.
At least choose a somewhat close color or blend in clear..

Another set ready for someone who will appreciate the work.

    Agree 100%

Although "just bowling balls" they are also a representation of the person who repairs them, your work speaks for your character.

I aspire to do the quality of work you do on "just bowling balls".

Boss just told me a customer gave him a PO for a job he quoted in 2014

He said yeah, we gonna have to requote that

It says on the quote he sent them “good for 30 days”, not 30 years

In the winter my wife will fire up the gas fireplace if she's cold but she never touches the thermostat.

In all honesty, I have never touched the thermostat in 14 years. I have tapped it a few times for it to make up its mind and start making cool/heat.

Good morning everyone and welcome to the weekend :hattip:

I had a failed attempt at replacing my rear bumper yesterday. Bolts were able to start backing out but the rust on the other side stopped them dead. And I don’t have any way to heat them up :annoyed:

Oh and on the thermostat, i put in a programmable one years ago, programmed it according to my wife’s wishes, she still adjusts it. AND yells at me when I don’t turn it down at night….
