Big fork service guy here. Decided to bump the Druid to 160mm. Got the new Fox glidey spring, now ribbed for your pleasure.

Also while in the mode I took care of my friends 38. Burnished the bushings, new seals , etc. There wasn't a ton of grease on the piston but there was also like 25cc in the air sleeve itself hiding.

lol, and according to some...the brothel. funniest story is when @Gunshot-6A and I were there for the race last, we were both browsing TW while chilling at camp and someone posted about the brothel in Ely. lol. Most hilarious coincidence ever.

oh man, yeah, that was bout how warm it was when we raced last. was super miserable. type 2.5 fun. hahahah.

Cave Lake trails are so damn good!

Nothing like laying in the sun on the sidewalk being hungover and waiting for your homies to show back up 2.5 hours after you finish , before losing a rigged Hawaiian shirt contest!

That new air spring looks promising. Let us know if you notice an improvement.
Looking forward to the new 38 version.

I’ve got some good miles in the MRP lift damper now, and I really like it. Still wish I could independently tune HS for those bigger days, but just adding more air has worked well. No harshness induced. It definitely uses its travel more, and I needed to add one more than usual tokens in it.

I put a GripX2 in my 38 a while back. It was a hell of an improvement, didn't change anything else at the time just a regular refresh and burnish the bushings. (Mine were tight af) Grip2 was always a compromise for me, harsh or no support, lacking any useful compression. X2 is a total new ball game, it's so much easier on the hands.

I also had my 36's Grip2 was reworked by fluid focus around the same time I got the x2. They did a great job and I haven't strayed from their recommend setting.

Another day at Jarrod’s. Much better on a regular bike IMO. Definitely got some form of heat exhaustion - headaches and sunburns when I got home.

the DJI worked well - unfortunately my angles were a bit off so the footage is shit.

Drive my truck back to the mouth of the woods to ride my backyard trails... Not the best pic (taken from afar), but you get the idea... everything is 5' or less... Great spot to ride when you wanna keep things easy and chill ... And NOT leave the house

Was someone asking about opening the tailgate with the 1up rack on with a bike?

Also, got out to Trestles last Thursday. Not a lot open, but it was still fun. I gotta get out there at least one more time once everything is open.

    That was me!

Of course as soon as I got the new rack on, something broke/fell off in the linkage and now I can't get my tailgate open (only one side unlatches). One of these days I will remember to try and get that figured out, but I only seem to remember when I am at work, am away from the truck..or I need to heave something in the bed..

A new trail just opened in Boise called Sideshow. Of course, I had to check it out. Series of berms, tables with good lips (for now). As usual with trails in the high desert. It's a little loose and needs some rain and riders to pack it in.

Anyone know much about angled headsets or can give some recs? I have a Hightower LT (2018) that’s been a backup/ friend borrow bike for awhile. I just found a push shock for it and contemplating reviving her for some of my more gnarly days (not often) since I primarily ride my 429 or SS hardtail which are surprisingly capable !
