@mightytacoman use to make and sell an automotive bespoke aluminum swirl pot for this. Because the black plastic would weep/leak. It was larger in capacity, dropped in place but no longer produced.

Someone did use a jegs or Summit one too.

I’ll be back soon enough. I coincidentally stopped at the Toyota dealer in the town I was passing through to get a better look at a truck I saw briefly on line. It wont be today or tomorrow, but I will be back.

How much would you pay for a used TRD blower without any of the supporting parts?

I saw one pop up for sale, but after adding the cost of other parts up individually and the cost is closing in on a new, complete kit.

Under $1000 to make it worth it. If not buy a new one. You would also want to factor in a rebuild.

I was in the same boat at one point, and the savings just didn’t add up, unless you get a complete kit, in good condition. And I got mine at the time for $1,000 even. Ended up selling it not long after I did more research.

Agreed. Finding or puting together the entire fit kit will run a couple grand. I did a mix of custom/OEM fit kit parts on the Tundra I built a few years ago and it was a shy of $3k

Where do you guys connect your boost gauges on 2nd gen’s? I installed a AEM boost gauge and it’s only reading Vac.
I threaded the pressure sensor directly the port that connects to the FPR and BOV/Bypass valve

On the Magnussen unit, I connected mine to a port directly on the unit located near the rear.

I would think anywhere downstream of your pro charger in the intake should read boost… maybe not at idle or lower RPM, but definitely Higher RPM
