it supposed to be over 90 for the next few days here.

i've made the corporate decision to take the weekend off from everything. the couch needs 'testing'.

 

Just after midnight we had flooded streets, the equivalent of a category 3 hurricane, 13 tornadoes and 3 casualties.

 

Seems like storms everywhere are getting worse. I-40 at the TN/NC line just got shut down again.

 

Attempting an end grain cutting board, we’ll see..

so ordered a hat, a damn ball cap hat on 6/14.. was shipped to MN on the 17th, sat there till the 18th, sent to MD a paltry 9 miles from my addy, was due here today, BUTT noooooo, it is now in Avondale AZ........wtf....

 

and they all wonder why they need to keep raising postage costs...

if they could fix all the mis-directs, it would probably net them a smooth few million extra...



i just got a $150 12v winch off Amazon. my mistake, i accidentally ordered a different version that has a non-standard mounting plate dimensions. seller required that i ship it back myself. no big deal... i go to get the shipping quotes, and between usps, ups, and fedex, they all quote me $52, $54, and $65 respectively...

$100 isn't worth the hassle. i'll keep it for another project and be more careful next time

Cole and I went to that sale, I didn’t buy the lathe. It brought $5,000


I did buy a bunch of other crap merchandise. Stuff was selling cheap. I got all of this and my total was $227 (paid $40 for the Kennedy toolbox)

 

The ride on aerator he was building was a death trap.

 

The guy had some nice stuff, he wrote this on his A/C unit in his basement.

 

No like for that one. Yeah, these types of storms are becoming the norm. Be safe!!
