They do have common 40% events. Especially for Models specifically. Not so common for Diecast. I bought quite a few when I caught 50% (remember the $9 citation). Speaking of… Target has $.88 Matchbox and Premium HotWheels on sale…

 

Short trip w/ my son… VERY spartan at the 3 stores I hit up. I did pick up a PowerWheels dune. It’s the same wheels as the milktruck, but they’re metallic blueish on that and PowerWheels is flat grey. Figured I might want the wheels for a taco build or something else…

 

Ok, so now Looking for something else… Viper RT/10 open top, twin racing stripes. Wish it was white/blue, but all I’ve seen is yellow/black, red/white, blue/white, and purple/white. There’s also a holiday 2009 57 Chevy in red… my dad’s dream car. (Technically his was the 4-door Hardtop, but nobody makes that one). There’s also an 80s El Camino in black. Don’t care if these are opens.

 

Oh, forgot… picked these up at Dolla Tre

 

They made a white Viper with blue stripes in 2013

 

They also made one in 1996

 

Nice… now I’m thinking the blue white might be nicer… hrm. Did they ever make the car that started it all. The Roadster?

@williams63 - I have 2 of the bugs if you want them… they had everything BUT that truck @Kilo Charlie wants… even found all the Hammer vehicles. Only grabbed these two, but kinda don’t like the Veyron colors.

got a few here gents, noone I owe you a bunch, all in the photo was grabbed with you and kilo in kind except the nova, kilo I grabbed the fire chief with you in mind no one I grabbed the Miata, firebird, viper, decidedly go, and the funny car mustang, Optimus was cause I remember someone wanting one but couldn’t find the comment. let me know

Optimus and gnx were grabbed as I’ve seen a few people looking but I honestly didn’t have time or signal to do a proper search. Give a shout, priority goes to kilo and noone for dibs on them.

 

Almost always Miatas for my good friend. Never seen red, so YES. I also like the Regal, and Nova. I want to say it was @Kilo Charlie that wanted Optimus.

EDIT: I ended up finding the 8ball and mustang… but still looking for the phone and others. I prefer the “original” over decal versions, except when it comes to race stuff. Would love some early firebirds ( like the 68 or the 80s black w/gold eagle. I got a blue w/white stripe SRT, now just gotta find the RT/10 in white/blue stripe. I have a black/grey SS Nova wagon.

 

BTW, purchased some holders 5-car matchbox/hotwheels base, and 5 car Premium. The 5 car premium will hold a 5car box with some room. The 5car base sometimes won’t fit 5 if you have variants (like Optimus). I also got a cube connection set. It’s limited in that the cubes are only so big and don’t accommodate longer or taller very well. I wrote the company, so maybe? If not, I may have a friend 3D print me some variants to allow for my others…

 

Yeah I'm definitely interested in the Fire Chief wagon and the Optimus truck.
