You're choosing to wait, because you have plans out of town. Priorities. You do you. :hattip:

Well here’s how it works “MGMD-Taco” Dude…or Dude’et ,Toyota agrees to a buyback. Then you have to sign documents agreeing to the duyback…They farm it out to a second party “Sedgwick”. They contact you within 60 days as per the Toyota policy… then they tell you they will be forwarding the documents to a contractor who will take ownership of your “now” bought back rig for inspection and condition as per described in the legal documents that you signed. Then that 3rd. Party contacts you with their availability to take the handoff… Then you take a look at your living schedule and see ain’t gunna work on that suggestion of hand off. Sooo just to clear shit up for you. They had this Tuesday the 10th at 10:30 am pst. Available. Well guess what? Me..be out of town on a business trip. So nice call with them and learned my assigned drop of person will be on vacation the following days( must be pretty senior to get summer vacation:)) so the next available hand off is… June 19th. Hope this clears you’r concerns for my out of town priorities… they ain’t plans, called a job and it’s monthly set.

Well it’s over. Got my check yesterday and handed over the keys to ol’ silver. Just about three months to complete the game. Replaced it with a white rig.IMG_0903.jpg IMG_0900.jpg IMG_0901.jpg

    Thanks,

definitely took a long hard look at the paint before I took it home. Actually liking the white color and got a “ nice truck” from a guy and his daughter at the local food market today!

I’ll throw this info on another thread but here are a few of my first nuggets.

truck had way more options than I wanted but was given a good deal on this rig.
Has the factory lift kit. I will say it’s a bit more firm on the ride but still I’d say plush…compared to the stock trd off-road.

I drove the truck right to my tire guy and replaced the stock rubbers with Falken P285/70/17 AT4W. Running at 32psi and the ride is great.
SL rating. Borla “1 wheel spacers on stock rim…I love the look!

also I went with a long bed this time, I throw Mt-bikes in the back so it’s nice to be able to close the tailgate.

going to replace the side steps with just the rock slider…I’m 6ft tall and never use the step and hit my leg on the way out.

also going to loose the tail pipe and go with the Trailhunter pipe for a cleaner look.

Nice truck. I just bought and received the Sixth Element pipe. It’s a work of art. I have a couple of tools I’ve been wanting coming tomorrow and will install the pipe later next week. Anyway, you might consider it.

    FYI
You do what you want but I reached out to Falken tech support & they hands down say to run those tires on that platform @ 30psi cold
Might sound stupid but even that additional 2psi drop will improve the stiffness youre feeling...

My door sticker says 32, Falken tech support using their caculation method say 30 to optimize even tire wear 30....

Im with Crispytacolover in regards to the pipe which I also suggested,
Its sexy piece hands down better option than the oem blah piece...
Wouldnt waste the effort or cost to get an OEM TH pipe....
