Alright I committed, ordered a set in 285/70r17 load e to replace my ridge grapplers. We'll see how they do! Was between this and the new Yoko geolander at 4(interesting cross shop I know)

Alright I've put about 5k on these tires now and I can say that overall I'm liking them more than the ridge grapplers.

Dry - little bit heavier and louder vs the load c ridge grapplers. Traction seems about the same but they seem to ride a little more comfortable. I did take about a 1 mpg hit if that is important to you.

Wet - better and more confidence inspiring than the ridge grapplers

Off road - my wheeling to compare has been minimal but seems like about equal. Although I will say these definitely have a deeper tread and a wider lug pattern so I think they'd be a bit better in the mud

Haven't had em in snow yet but I think they'll do about the same

Overall really solid choice if you want something a bit different in the rugged terrain category

It all depends on feelz, wear, and sidewall. From stock, cornering felt horrible at the recommended pressures. 35 has felt right for me without any wear issues. I've only had SLs until the RTs which are the XLs. Of course, I did waste a tire airing down too far.

Snap into a Slim Jim, or few!
