She’s all one color now! Finally!!! More pics if any gives a hoot in my build thread.

 

Goals!

 

For rattle can and only wet sanding the clear coat came out pretty good. Gloss black is a bitch!!! My old red taco, El Rojo… RIP, I didn’t wet sand at all and it came out great other than you could feel the texture of spray paint.

 

I’m swapping glass in the coming weeks and will be painting mine soon

 

Rattle can because prerunner, wet sand because it’s a Toyota and worth the love!

 

For anyone that was making plans. Labor Day cinders trip is getting postponed until later in the month or early October. Had other plans get shifted forcing the change of dates. I’ll share once new dates are confirmed.

cost me $16k to replace the collapsed line from house to city hookup in the middle of the road.

 

They only see mine “collapsed” (bottom broken) under the house and it’s Lineable. Digging it up in the front to add the clean outs needed.

 

Ooof, been there.
17k to dig 2 baths and the laundry, then line it all the way out to the street.

 

What's the best hole saw you guys use for notching tubes?

 

Mac truck was warranting my neighbors hole saws. Don't know if they still do because he moved and doesn't do cages anymore. Only problem was you had to wait for the truck to come back next week. Doesn't always line up for when you need one.

 

Got a set of 37s for 300$, looked it up and was calling for 14oz of beads per tire, sound right?

I figured for the price i could get it out of my system. Going to throw them on and see how much it weighs me down before I cut anything. Not going to have a supercharged truck that's a fast as a stock 1st gen.

 

Honestly the power difference between stock and 38s on stock gearing is only noticeable down low. I wouldn't say you'll notice that big of a difference regeared and supercharged

 

These are only measuring 35 inches without weight so I doubt its going to be anything crazy. They are definitely wider than my 11.5s though
