Hard to tell in your pic, what did you do with the pcv hose that connects to the intake just under and behind the procharger vac manifold from the valve cover? Kind of looks like just the nipple there?

This pic make it easier to see? I circled the connections to the pcv and the intake manifold. One has a hose clamp, the other is zip tied

I replaced the zip tie with a hose clamp. Did the same on the main connection to the intake manifold as well. Feels like the truck is boosting well. It seems like the guage is just not seeing it. Should each of the ports on the little vac mani see boost pressure?

Yea man, like I said it's probably the sensor. Give AEM a ring, they'll send you another one.

Have you guys rerouted your vacuum hoses, to prevent the boost pressure from going into the crank case by way of the PCV hoses? Did the procharger kit come with any changes?

The other side routes back in before the s/c / charge pipes. Otherwise there isn't anywhere for positive air pressure to get into the crankcase.

The PCV valve is a one way valve correct? This would prevent boost from going into the crank case.

Yes, when it's working correctly. Worth checking once every never.

I pulled the pressure sensor off the little mani and left it plugged in to the gauge. Then pushed a small amount of air into it with my air compressor and it read 5psi

You would have other issues if there was vacuum leaking somewhere. (bad idle, etc) The SC would still make some boost even if there was a vacuum line missing for example. It would have to be a major disconnect like intercooler hose or something to leak enough airflow to show nothing.

I hooked up an autometer mechanical boost gauge. It showed ~2psi at lower rpm and ~5psi at 4.5k rpm

Yea I still think you have a bad sensor, like I said they're known to be flakey. Blowing air in with a compressor should spike it to a high level instantly.

I agree with this. I have an aem boost/vac gauge that only reads vacuum as of lately. Im running the Magnuson sc but it sounds like the same issue. Builds boost and drives normally but boost reading has left the building. I confirmed mine with another snow water/meth boost gauge

That's pretty interesting and also helpful to know of the same issue.

Has anyone tried an aftermarket pressure sensor?
    like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BM6B6B73

From what I've read, the SS sensors are more accurate and more durable than brass

I don't really recommend it, that sensor might not scale the same as the AEM. I couldn't confirm by your kit PN but it probably uses a 5 bar sensor. If that kit was new they will replace it, call them.
