Can't like that in this heat.

 

Just came back on at 5 15.

Morning all, stay hydrated!

 

Morning PA

Probably gonna head out there at 7:30am to wash the truck. Beat some of the heat. I like it hot, but can't be stupid about it.

 

I'm off today as well, going to putz a little this morning then take the wife at 11 to a procedure then back home around 2 or so. Probably stay inside till evening.

 

I've been on 4 day work weeks since 2018. I've been so spoiled by 3 day weekends. I do have to work Saturday, but having off two week days makes it super nice for any doctor or vehicle stuff.

 

Boss texted me last night asking if I want to stay behind and work on machines. With the heat today yes absolutely. Granted there's no fan in the garage it's still better standing out in the sun all day. Still tagged up my neck head and arms with sun screen.
I guess with them losing me at the end of the week he wants me to get all the machines fixed.

 

Also my boss has been trying to figure out all these different ways to keep me here. Has done everything but offer the raise I asked for.

 

Also like to state thank god this is the last week I have pick up my nephew for work. Cuz he's never on time.

 

I've got like 6 window shaker units in the shed I really thought about throwing one in the garage yesterday. It's all insulated and drywalled plus the garage door is insulated, but First Energy is already getting enough of my money right now with the central unit barely shutting off here and there

 

Its only 840am and I'm already dying happy I don't have a route today cuz f that noise.

 

At least your head is shaven. My hair is down to my shoulders

 

I'm thinking they're doing rolling blackouts to help the grid stay up and running. Power came back on last night not long after I got home. When I lived out west they'd atleast give us a scheduled heads up when its your turn and how long, no courtesy from Pa. though. LOL

 

Forget where I was reading this was going to start being a thing. If this starts happening it's gonna be a do I build a shop or get a Generac system

 

That just means my head will burn faster than yours

Everyone has been telling me it would be terrible having long hair in this heat, but honestly it isn't any worse than when I had short

 

I got my mop cut off just prior to Spring. my hair was nearly down to my ass!

 

I'm set for next time. Went down to the lower garage this morning and dug it out, 4th pull she fired right up.

 

Mine isn't that bad, yet
