either of you need the Porsche 914 safari I listed? I had seen it as base colors but this was my first with the patchwork colors on the no hatch.

 

That Porsche is sick but if ar15 wants it send it his way lol.

 

Had a good score tonight… Ollies had Member Appreciation night with discounted pricing and member 15% off your entire purchase. Went to look and probably not buy… they had just restocked the diecast and there were plenty of fresh items… $2 a car! I got a little overzealous and opened and placed a few, boxes shown.

This new old viper is super detailed for a mainline, so I added some wheels to complement it. I know traditionally it came with chrome rims, but I think I like the white better.

Found the Hot Wheels Dodge Viper at the airport, of all places. Holds the record of the most expensive mainline I've paid for at five bucks.

Bought the protector at a hobby store local to my destination.

And I saw these wheels and couldn't help myself. The one on the right I plan to swap on to an Hobby Japan FL5. Though the ones on the left I'm not sure what to put them on. When I laid eyes on the set, I wanted them on the big Land Cruiser 300, and not the 250 Prado that I found.

Plus, this will be my first attempt at a wheel swap. Wish me luck!

 

If you’re putting those wheels on a hot wheel, you may need to hone out a channel in the “interior “ fender walls to fit the tubes or the base may not sit flush. I brass tube and split axles a lot and learned this lesson the hard way. I drill the tube channel in the base , but the inner fender walls need love too or sometimes you get a gap.. I’ve corrected my gaps but you can see it on the rear bumper of this gasser..

R33 is my favorite skyline. That is nice. There is somebody in my city that has one and I haven’t managed to track him down yet. He only brings it out twice a year, but he cruises through my neighborhood. I need to throw a basketball in front of his car so I can talk to him.

You’re in the right place.. those sets are also limited, they had them on sale during Christmas for $52 or something surprised they are still available.

 

There’s also a china exclusive set, (I could be wrong about the country) where instead of the truck being white the trucks are black with the same graphics.

I forgot to add a few cars I found a few days ago...have not seen to much newer/cooler ones (I know these are cool!) but in time some employee will be sick and will dump a few boxes not picked through and I'll have a shot.

 

Haven’t seen that one but there is a guy on eBay selling a custom one like it. Wants a lot for it too!
