It was old and pretty beat up, my brother put a lot of work into retruing the wheels, overhauling the 3-speed hub, replacing the cables, tires, pedals, shifter trigger, brake pads...

His working theory was it was thrown to the curb on trash day and then got snowed under; given his background, he knew a diamond in the rough when he saw one. :)

    Both WOW and :annoyed:!
Was just sitting on the back patio and saw a black bear over in the woods with 3 cubs in tow and heading towards the pond.
One of the cubs was brown/cinnamon and the other two were black, never saw a bear that color except for pictures, hopefully I'll get an opportunity to get a picture of it.

Mine was 64' Malibu SS. Pic taken Round 1967.

My late teen years were spent drag racing for money on the streets Friday and Saturday nights or at the drag strip.

Mine was not the Malibu SS we raced in. The race car was "street legal" 65' Malibu SS. Blue printed and balanced Aluminum block L88 427, fiberglass tilt up front end, straight front axle, chopped down rear axle, cuts out in the trunk to accommodate the wrinkle wall slicks, stripped interior, roll cage and many many more mods.

Mine, all show and no go....But the girls did not care, especially the hotty lifeguard with the big boobs who went out with me because of my car. We were life guards together. I married her a few years later. We're still happily married 54 yrs later and when people ask our secret to a successful marriage we both laugh and say, hot cars and boobs...

pic of the car, sorry no boobs

Pic taken behind my dad's machine shop.

I got your point about the build for particular plants and/or details of that particular model.
What I need was to verify the part numbers for the headlights, which I already have from Google search, the guy just declined the help from the get go. Fortunately the USA is still a free market country, I guess I just ordered it from a different store.

    Exactly!
