I'll see what Costco says about patching the tire tomorrow. It looks like an easy repair. I might turn this one into the spare and just order a new tire.

20% on the sides 50% on the windshield. I was going to go with 70% but the Lumar I went with didn’t offer it. The way the sun is hitting it looks darker in this photo than it actually is. You will notice 50 on the windshield when you get it done but it’s not bad. I hardly notice it anymore other than the rare occasion I’m somewhere at night with no ambient lighting, and it still not like having sunglasses on. Something to keep I mind is it is technically illegal in all 50 states and they don’t need a meter to ticket for it.

I have 70% ceramic on all my cars shields. Blocks a ton of heat. If you have good headlights, you can hardly tell it's there. I'll be doing 50% on the Taco next time.

For those that say it will be too dark, ceramic is different when looking out vs standard carbon tint. It's got much better clarity, so it looks lighter than it is when looking out from the inside.

Every one of my tires has a plug in it

$40 each for a patch (which is the correct method)... $7 for a plug kit that plugged 4 of my tires and 2 of my wife's ..... I still have 2 plugs left and hope to God I don't need either....

It's time for new tires for both vehicles.

But yeah ... A good plug kit saves a lot of $$$$. Between my vehicles, my bicycle, and my lawnmower I feel like something is always flat

The % in tint is Visible Light Transmitted. Whether it’s traditional or ceramic, 50% only lets in half of the light from your headlights at night, regardless of whether or not one is clearer than the other.
Do what you’re gonna do though, just commenting for clarity

10 seconds of cutting that I should have done years ago.
It's not worth it to me to get PDR to fix the dent so I'll live with it until I can afford a high clearance bumper.
