Mickey Thompson Canyon, 16x8, 0 offset; General 265/70/16. Wheels are 18 lbs without tire. Wanted KO2's but only could get load range E, much heavier, approx 50 lbs. each. The Generals in standard load came in at 39 lbs per tire. So I'm at about 57 lbs per corner. Wish they were machined instead of polished, but no biggie. No rubbing so far, only about 1 inch of poke outside the fender. I'm shopping for flares since I have an SR with no flares. Just an old guy who likes the old school slot mags :) BTW, no lift, stock suspension IMG_1173.jpg IMG_1172.jpg

MGMDT, may I make a recommendation? On your next road hazard your tire may pickup, create a poll/survey here on TW with pics, so we can assist with prediagnosis? We may be able to figure a way to offer it up as a raffle whereby the winner who guesses what's in your tire now, takes the pot. I think it would be fun.

I always love when someone replies to something they have never done with comments like this. I understand what tint % means, but 50% with ceramic is not the same when looking out as carbon and it really is not as cut and dry as you make it sound. It has different properties and the difference is crazy tbh. When looking out, the ceramic looks at least 1-2 shades lighter than the same % in carbon. I would never use carbon tint on a windshield though, its clarity is trash and it would be super unsafe. Ceramic is a great medium for tint and tinting the shield also helps if you have vision issues like astigmatism by reducing glare coming in. You don't have to go dark if you don't like, but here in the desert 70% is the lightest I'd do. But I will continue to tint the windshield on every vehicle I own :)

I appreciate your contributions here despite the condescension. Like I said, do what you’re going to do, but own that there are trade offs: Reducing visible light for a vehicle that stays cool for a while longer while baking in the sun. Any VLT% <100 is a hindrance at night, but night driving means different things to different drivers. Daylight is abundant for me now, but 6 months from now there will be 6 hours of light a day.
I totally get it, we make sacrifices for comfort in extreme environments

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...

Agreed. It seems a lot of talk about darkness of tint to reduce cabin heat while stationary but no one talks about the added benefit of vent shades. I have installed them on all my vehicles. They do work well to reduce cabin heat as well.

It's a oil change kit from motivx, you screw that little guy in with the hose attached instead of using the stupid plastic drain nipple they give you with every new oil filter, way easier and much less of a mess. Plus their oil filter wrench is a lot less likely to break the plastic housing because it doesn't grab those plastic wing tabs.

    Whole kit
    Just the filter drain
