Not sure I understand the point of Milwaukee competing in that space. The cost of the M18 battery will be about as much or more than a quality unit from NOCO.

I think this product is mostly marketed towards people who already have M18 batteries and professionals like tow truck drivers who have to jumpstart a lot. The specs are pretty impressive. Depending on just how much it costs I probably will pick one up. Just grabbing one of my many already charged batteries and popping it in to jump start something sounds a lot nicer than making sure I remember to keep a jump pack charged up.

I’m sure the “tool only” version sales will be quite high on a product like this.

Depending on the price you might be right.

Calling it now that the tool-only version will still be more expensive than a noco…

    …but I’ll still want one cause I’m a sucker

    Thanks!

I've had good luck with Schumacher products in the past. I have also been considering something a bit more substantial than the cell phone sized jump-starter I currently carry.

    Welcome!

We use them for when equipment/semis need a steady supply of power to keep them running like when they have a bad alternator. It'll start a truck without any issues. Our Cap Start 3000s like having some voltage to turn on the power so we will use them to get the voltage up to make the Cap Start happy. They stand behind that 2 year warranty as we've had 2 get warrantied.

I've had excellent results with Antigravity Micro-Start for jumps. One in each vehicle.

Down sides of this Milwaukee. No steady power, won’t get a long crank, 30 sec to try to start may not be useful for troubleshooting.

Just like the Nocos. We've used those at work and they just dont perform really well
