Kind of what I figured haha

 

While we're on the subject of Colorado, I needed something to do since it was too hot to be outside after work so I decided to start building some of the stock cars for my narrow gauge model railroad. These are really nice injected molded kits of the 5700 series of stock cars. It's been too long since I built any kits this nice, the first ones are going to be not-so-great.

I started doing some cow math- each one of these cars held about 35 cows, an average of 35 steaks per cow, 3 stock cars have been started... that's almost 3700 steaks... 1 steak per week- almost a lifetime supply of steaks!

Morning everyone back from “camping “ trip. Two days of rain and three days of extreme heat. My wife doesn’t like “ camping “ anymore. Oh and the bugs, mosquitos , horse flies, deer flies, nats , and ticks Too hot to fish, only got 2 hours a day in, right at sunset, caught a few, still hot, fish feeding during the night. The dog had a blast, rolling in dead stuff and mud Be safe out there, the temperature is slightly elevated

We've got friends of ours down here that go back up to Salisbury every year to their home town, i haven't heard from them in a few weeks, temps like that they could have just stayed here. It's 83 this morning already!

Good morning everyone. The boss and the engineer that can fix the network systems for Solidworks are on their way to NYC to return a customer's van.

Guess what isn't working this morning.


Oh well, that's a 'them' problem. I'll stay busy looking at job postings on Indeed and LinkedIn.

 

I found another T4R at a 'Yoter Stealership in Colorado Springs. It checks ALL of the boxes. I wouldn't have time to sell the Taco and use those funds against the price of the T4R. The thought of financing 75% of the price tag puts a monthly payment that is damn near my mortgage payment.

That's nerve racking.

 

Good morning everybody, hope you’re all doing well.

I’ve been busy getting stuff caught up around the house since we don’t have to babysit this week. Also getting ready for a camping trip this weekend with my local ham radio club. It’s a yearly nationwide event where clubs go out and set up portable stations and make contacts. It’s a practice exercise for disaster response type of operations.

Weather is hot and humid down here but not as bad as some of you.
