    I've never been to one of those Competitions,but seen a few on youtube..That caller looks similar to one an Old Man in Clanton alabama made me 45 years ago..He used Cedar,or walnut..An old Square Cut nail(i think they was made around 1780's to around 1890)and a Arkansas Soft stone..It works similar to what that guy makes but different..I've used alot of callers but it's unbelievable sounding in the woods.
