Seen the same show here in Houston the weekend before last as a birthday present for my father in law.

the Tacoma was much easier to park than his 3/4 ton would’ve been

NP. I want them but am concerned about mucking up my tint with the in channel ones. From searching I see a mixed bag of some say it can affect it, some say it doesn't

Tint goes on the inside of the glass. The channel visors are on the outside. They won't touch each other and there is plenty of room in our channels for friends.

The visors themselves don't help with heat, but it is nice to not have to worry about anything getting into the truck when the windows are cracked. Cracking them is an instant -20 degrees of in-cabin temps though.

I got tint right after I drove the Taco off the lot. Then installed in channel vent shades the following weekend. That was almost 8 years ago. Neither have failed or shown signs of wear.

Window tint and smoked in-channel vent visors are the best $250 you can spend on a stock vehicle to change the appearance.

Go my speaker towers all setup, still working on the bench in the back. Right now it just feels really high up when sitting.

Maybe rotate the speakers so they face the sides (sidewalk)? I think the benchwarmers would appreciate it. :lalala:

Yeah, thats something I am running into. The people in the bench will get blasted, Ive thought about swapping the benches with the towers so the people sit behind the speakers, but the coaches are the ones sitting in the benches and need to direct the dancers.
Angling them out more might give them some more relief, I will have to test in a parking lot so I know the girls can hear the music.

I think I will probably end up just removing the tailgate and have the coaches sit on the back of the truck.

For some reason I seem to find pieces of metal in my tires. It's been going on for years now. A couple of weeks ago I got my third piece of metal a nail in my Tacoma in 24K+ miles. I carry a plug kit with me from Walmart. It has more than paid for itself.

Here in NJ every road is under construction 24/7 - 365.... So I hear you . The last flat I had was an actual screw so I was able to drill it all the way in to stop the leak... I never thought of actually carrying a patch kit with me . Generally we pick up odd pieces of metal as well... Sometimes I can't imagine how they made it into my tire

I have been on the fence about grabbing a set of these from day 1 of ownership. I wanted an ultra low profile set, but never got around to pulling the trigger nor did I ever get jazzed up on spending the money.

I would leave my windows cracked 9 months out of the year... Wondering if a lot of bugs/spiders make their way in... Sometimes I leave my rear slider open overnight by accident and go to work the next morning with wasps flying around in the cabin.

It’s been awhile since you’ve had windows tinted hasn’t it?

It has been a rare occasion that any bugs would get in the vehicle because of leaving the window open a bit.
Here in SW Ontario a thunderstorm can come up out of nowhere but by having vent shades I never worry about getting water inside because I have left the windows open to keep the vehicle cooler.
