It's funny how quickly you get used to being on two or three wheels. The rocks are really grippy. @Shibbyjeep has made stuff look easy and given me some confidence in the long wheelbase routes.

That's why east coast wheelers tend to poke fun at west coast wheelers. Post a dry sticky rocks video and all the east coast guys emediately start going off with "now make it slippery and surround the trail with body-crunching trees, and you can call it wheeling"

All the same I'm just missing some break over angle on both sides here. I'm dragging ass all over the place. I need bigger tires and a bobbed bed. I only had to skip one obstacle and got winched up another the whole day but it was a struggle.

I’ve had good luck with plugs. Had a couple of nails close to the sidewall and plugged them. The tires lasted another 30k before I replaced them.

if you’re just looking for a good excuse though, rock and roll with it!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but anyone in the Columbia area willing to help me install some 5100s on my new-to-me 2015 DCSB TRD Off-Road?

Looking to remove the small spacer/block lift previous owner installed and replace all the shocks. Willing to provide pizza and a case of beer in trade for access to some tools and a bit of guidance.

haven’t actually ordered the shocks yet, so no rush. Just trying to figure out if there’s anyone in the area willing to help.
