I wonder a lot about this the prices of LS’s because of that 69 c10. But secretly I feel like I could build a pretty decent little leftover parts from buddies and random people’s old school 350 for it. If Holley sniper wasn’t so expensive it would be even more tempting

It might have a 32 gb limit, we're trying stretch it by forming a bigger card. I do have a 128 card I'll try next

    You mean stable?

I have the most experience in welding but breathing the fumes and roling around in mud or shop dust was kinda shit

Everyone needs their AC fixed. Not everyone needs pipelines built.

atleast out here unless your a welder working a for a hvac company or you get put stationary at a place most dont work year round. They work like 80% the year.
Mean while hvacr service guys stay busy all year long

@Running Board Man if you want to stay a welder, i would recommend trying to go uptown. Unless you like being in oil fields and refineries

Kinda hard to do when you’re union unless you want to pay a huge fine

It seems like the dudes had more jobs than most have their whole lives. Which I mean, sure hop around a little, figure out what you like while you can, someone will always hire you, probably.

What's the point of being loyal to places that pay 20 bucks an hour and have 60 year old dudes doing the same shit as you who never got a raise... if I stay where I've been I'd still be exactly where I was

If I stick with the union no matter what I do I'll be getting 45 an hour... that right there is reason enough

welding on the border wall was giving me $950 a week... I supplied my own machine and fuel

than i welded at a shipyard where I got $21

Than I went to a tank production place and got $25.50

I could've stayed at any of them but i'd have been playing myself

Hopefully where ever you're going is better. Hell, our interns start at $32 w/ company trucks.

Full time contractors start at like $55
