My 2022 came with tinted windows when I bought it new, of course they charged me for it, lol I don’t know the % of tint though. I am considering the window visors. So many mods left I want to do. Like the hood struts, bed mat, led map lights. Best mod I’ve done so far is the bed step, worth every penny.

Low profile. I do find the occasional spider taking residence after windows are cracked for multiple days.

Totally worth the $25 so I went ahead and added an additional layer of window film on.

That's awesome! Did you get those speakers at CostcO? Are you running them off the truck or a separate battery?

We need a list of good quality window tint shops by state on this forum. Maybe list the price too. I know AZ runs about $700 for full ceramic. :boom:

Need to get mine done too. Been looking around recently. I was planning taking it to Az Auto Aesthetics in Mesa. Full ceramic window tint along with paint correction and ceramic coating. Gonna be super pricey, but it seems like they're one of the highest rated.

Got them from JBL.com, they are just giant bluetooth speakers that can link together. Each one runs on its own built in battery, with like a 18 hour run time.
But I got these for use with my daughters dance team, I dont really have much use for them my self, but I let the guys who did my wood floors use them while they were working.

When ever I get to redoing the suspension again… :jellydance: I’m upset I didn’t buy the Perry’s before the icons I’ve got in there. Maybe I should just get a set because the icons were cheap. Fucking Tacoma world.

Installed a front facing camera for my Aucar head unit. Was pretty straight forward after I figured it out and realized i didnt need a whole harness/kit (from r4t) with this unit. Just a $40 camera from Amazon and it plugs right in and works flawlessly in the camera app already installed. Did a little write-up here for anyone that has this head unit.

Disclaimer about head unit tho If you're considering purchasing it.. Be aware, it does have some caveats and may require contacting support for inital updates regarding some controls/functions to work.. They may have integrated these updates into new units they roll out, but idk. Its a great android unit tho. Had it for a bit now and no issues, outside of initial functions not working properly when first installed. I like the android capabilities for sure tho. Favorite features are ability to use Torque Pro and auxbeam switch panel app, navigation screen size... And now the front camera.
Thumbs up in my book

Those look really good. How do they attach. Do they like snap on or is it adhesive ? What brand are they ?

I have the same ones, AVS (auto vent shades) these are the smoke low profile ones. They are in channel with 3M adhesive. Amazon link. The red is where the 3M tape is, roll down the window, you clean the window channel, undo tape, stick into window channel and roll up the window. I believe you're supposed to leave it rolled up for 24 hours once you apply it to really get it to stick.

sorry didnt see this until now. another user responded with the information, its the MotivX drain kit. Comes with a funnel that threads into the fill tube (very handy), a machined metal cup to remove the filter canister (incredibly high quality) and the banjo-style conenctor to drain the oil from the canister before removing. little pricey but Made in the USA and makes it a much easier and cleaner job. I also have the metal filter canister as well.

I also have the in channel AVS in smoke, it does say to leave your windows up for 72 hours after install... I did roll mine down the next day at a drive though after installing them the night before, but I didn't leave them down while parked or driving... Here is a TMI video on install...
