    Hey guys,
I’m like 93% sure my clutch pedal isn’t supposed to do this. Is the clutch cylinder supposed to be attached to the pedal in some way?? The pedal travels a good 2 inches before it contacts with the cylinder. Also sits an inch higher than the brake pedal. Any advice would be appreciated, I’m tired of my sad floppy pedal.

The rod is not attached to the clutch pedal, the pedal presses against it.
It's normal for the clutch pedal to sit a couple inches higher than the brake pedal but there shouldn't be much more than about a half inch of free play.

Yea there should be a rubber pad there, that's probably where your excess free play is coming from.

Thanks for the help! I couldn’t find the correct Toyota part for sale anywhere without having the buy the whole subassembly, so I just made my own. Problem solved
