I guess I’m about to find out if an exhaust, driveshaft, gas tank, and transmission will fit in an 07 Corolla lol

Transmission should fit in the backseat or passenger seat,
Driveshaft bent at the double-cardan could probably squeeze in the trunk/backseat area with the seats down

Struggling to picture the gas tank or exhaust fitting.. Got any crossbars on that thing?

At the very least, source the fuel tank even closer and stop lollygagging by picking up the other parts already.

Not on the Corolla. I thought maybe the gas tank would fit in the trunk, and the exhaust could maybe lay in the trunk and through the back seats but that might be wishful thinking

My guy in post falls probably has a tank, I bought one from him a couple years ago and he had a few at least. I've got all of my old exhaust still if he wants it. I don't need it

It’s all up in Newport, so that’s the closest parts truck I’ve been able to find so far

I remember you offering him those parts too, wasn't sure if he took you up on it

We all want to see him get his truck together, but nothing will happen without any action taken on his part:bananadead:

Maybe I’ll pass on his exhaust then. He said the tank would be $100, but I wouldn’t mind leaving that til later if your friend still has some. I might as well have that local driveshaft guy refresh the shaft I get too if he’s still around town. Thanks!

Exhaust is probably lowest priority anyway
Try to fit it all but thats what I'd drop if you have to ditch something

We've had the real self driving cars from Waymo for years now, they've been perfectly fine. Uber used to have a program out here as well, but after they killed someone jaywalking at 2am I think they cancelled the whole thing. I don't really even blame the car for that one, saw the dash cam footage and it looked real tough to avoid, not that the car even really tried to avoid it...

These are all cars with lidar systems though, not like the new ones hitting those streets

lidar based self driving has a proper chance at working… the camera only based self driving is going to hurt people

I'm sure like flying, they take the data from any and every incident and write the software to ensure that situation never happens again

But, Austin is pretty damn big and well-populated and it's not like Tesla hasn't been in hot water for self-driving this/that before

Look up Evan Knapp on marketplace, dude may not have a listing that has one in it but if you ask he may have one. He's a good dude and priced reasonably. Think I bought my tank for $80 and he let me inspect it first to make sure the top would come off without breaking. You can just have my exhaust, it's lightly modified but sounds nice and doesn't drone. Has a good catalytic converter still.

Lidar self driving also will set off people's cop detectors... Which can be funny

A good CAT alone is money right there - Nick you better just buy what you need and take Zane up on what he's got

That's what I'm thinking as well because I just drove it and the temp guage dances around I get out the rad hoses arnt super pressurized or that hot even it feels like it's on the verge or running properly

No bubbles in coolant when running with the cap off

    Aisin fan clutch

Oreillys water pump, autozone thermostat, autozone rad cap (both autozone parts are on my radar)

It has some murky green coolant, I'll force it all out tomorrow with fresh red and maybe see what's up with that thermostat while at it

This wasn't my job but after the 3rd come back I guess it is now

@Speedytech7 What kind of filter do you use for your pond?

Is it one of those submersibles that just pulls water through it, or is it separate from the pond sort of like a sump tank?
