Getting started in earnest this weekend! 4 of 5 casters are supposed to show up today, 5th one shipped in a different box and carrier for some reason and won’t get here until Monday… I’ll keep y’all posted on progress with pictures!

Speaking of… these things are beefy!!!

I got some real bullshit casters for the bender stand… I have to take a running start to maneuver them over the concrete gaps in the garage, lol. I was not going to make the same mistake on the stool!

 

I'm hardly ever up that way

 

I want em but my 33's rub sometimes, 35's would be hell, and I'll never regear so

 

Are those SCS?

 

Gears and rubbidub tub have definitely held me back on going 35's

 

Side note, just got a nice chunk of welding slang directly in my ear hole. Over head welding sucks nuts

 

Yup! They sounded like what I was after so gave em a shot.

I’ll upgrade the bender if they live up to the hype.

 

I hope you got a minimum of two with brakes

They work so well, my stool will just wander off with the slightest tap

But that could also make them dangerous if you're sitting down and not holding onto your stool first - I'll need to add a second brake but those are the same brand I went with

Not sure what thread size/pitch you went with but I used acorn nuts in lieu of the nuts included

I remembered it was Service Caster something, so that was close enough Yup, I got two full brakes.

The round tube I sent fits over the stem I take it?
