You have been so helpful and responsive, thank you!!
There is a hose going nowhere, and a little guy sticking out of the silver cylinder and i have no idea where this hose goes. It comes off a hard line connected to a larger hose, coming out toward the drivers side, from behind the head.

    Dang
Pix are “too close” (1st 3)
Looks like I can make out both sides of engine (I think)
Can you take a “set up pic” from further away and then close up?

That is the air intake nip into the charcoal filter....

fresh air supplied from intake tube on back side of the maf

    2rzzz.jpg

its supposed to go thru that metal tube on top of the radiator....

on mine I got rid of metal tube and just ran straight hose
.....this is how it looked before I got rid of the metal tube.....stupid

I believe this is the nip that it draws off clean air..used to purge the filter

    s-l1600 (1).jpg

if you have cold air induction like mine....then it just draws/taps off anywhere on the intake tube.....

I can better pics later/tomorrow am. Found the radiator conmection!! Main issue is the mystery hose behind the head. Apparently it is a coolant hose, it spewed when i actually filled with coolant.
The yellow is where ish the hose is, the arrow is where the hose is coming out of, but its below and behind what you can see, if that makes sense

Cap it off with something and keep filling. The mystery connection will spew when coolant gets to it

@OpeCity called his mystery connection a hose barb on the egr valve? Perhaps the egr valve has some coolant flowing through it for cooling?

Ok! So to @ControlCar & everyone. I think this is clear! The small marked yellow offshoots the larger marked yellow lower hose, purple offshoots the higher larger hose. The other end of the marked blue is coming off the bottom of the throttle body.

It seems i have to put the purple where the yellow is.
But then where does yellow go.

The only possible idea i can see is the little nub coming out from the starter, marked w a square.

But i had to disconnect them all to get the intake manifold out. Very confused.

I will!!!! Going to start it tonight !!!! I got nervous and wanted to triple million check something. I found the spot for the mystery coolant hose going under the intake under the throttle body, but it doesnt make sense for coolant to go in there ? Do i need to switch it with one of the hoses i put on the egr valve?
