    Morning all:

:(, hope she heals up quickly.

Greg, restoring those bicycles looks like an interesting hobby, and it looks like you're pretty good at it!

Bucket list stuff for me. In college I had a young lady that invited me to join her on a family owned island north of Vancouver for a summer, but I turned her down. One of those things that you always wonder about.

50 some odd years ago I got my start in my mechanical journey with bicycles. I worked in a bike shop as a young man putting bikes together and doing repairs. The owner saw my mechanical aptitude and started to have me do repairs on mopeds, i became the engine rebuild guy. I always excelled at things I do with my hands. Mechanical aptitude is the gift that God gave me. I have always said just give me some time and I can make fix or build just about anything, we'll except for computers, lol, I just screw those up.

You guys have to deal with the humidity. I live in the northern Sacramento valley and we get lots of days in the summer 95+ and 100+ but no humidity. It’s hot but you can deal with it. But eastern heat with humidity just zaps me. It has made me physically sick. We have visited the Lancaster Pa. area numerous times over the years (my wife is from there and has family and friends there). I like the area but hate it in the summer. I remember one time back there I was grilling chicken and stuff for a big family get together. It was hot, humid and no shade, almost passed out and got sick. I’ll take our 110 degree days with zero humidity any time. My wife tells me when she was growing up they did not have house air conditioning. F that.
