    What I don't get is, while you are peeling the excess off the paint, what is stopping it from peeling off the letters of the emblem at the same time? Do you have to score around the letters before you start peeling?
    Also, several people have said that if you don't like it, just peel it off after a few months. I have to agree with the above person who said that doesn't sound like very good quality.
    Not saying it's bad stuff, just trying to get feedback before I do my rear bumper and emblems.

    I would say I did a weaksauce job at best of masking off around my emblems when I sprayed them. Afterwards I had quite a bit of overspray dust that floated up above the newspaper I used. A damp paper towel worked flawlessly when I wiped it down shortly after spraying. A week went by and I hadn't had a chance to wash my truck, but after I finally did, I could feel areas of plastidip dust that floated around that I missed. It came off just by rubbing it with my fingers with very light pressure. Once I realized how easy the floaty dust spots came off, I didn't bother wasting my time with my finger. Last weekend I claybared, compound buffed and polished and it was like nothing ever happend. The clay took all the excess dust off and you could easily see how much there was in the white clay. The emblems even stood up to some minor rubing from my powerball when I was polishing/waxing around the emblems on the doors & tailgate. It's durable stuff and won't damage well maintained paint.

    There is enough of a gap between the emblems and the actual surface of the door/tailgate that when you peal up the excess it just separates along the edges of the emblems. As far as the quality, it's as durable as you can make it. I used 3 light coats and my door emblems have 3 or 4 small chips in them from rocks. I'm positive that if I put heavier coats on and 4-5 coats, it would take something like crushed rock to chip the plastidip.

    I put some closeups to show the irregular contours that were there initially when I removed the tape.

    I debated the center caps, but I saw the TRD beadlocks, and they have that contrast of sharp lip and cap, with dark in between. I wanted to see what it looked like on the sport wheels. I am considering doing the center caps, or replacing them with the TRD center caps since that is also a nice mod.

    ok tomorrow im plasti-dipping my badges and i was woundering what the best was to go about doing this is? do i have to spray small coats and wait 10 minutes between each one or what? is there anyways this stuff can not come off of my truck if i dont like it? i dont wanna spray it on wrong (idk how im gunna do that) and its not gunna come off.

    I used this shit, its ok. Just spray it on man dont worry about doin it wrong, do light coats and shit and let it dry plenty before applying more shit and that shit should come out great! and just peal the exes shit off man. Its hot out here were I am so the shit dries extra fast. Hope this helps :D but do like 3-4 coats of the shit, easier to peal that way.
