Had torn ball joint boots on my Mustang, couldn't find correct replacements. The first Pic is what the so called replacement they send you, but there is no ridge at the bottom or channel for the spring clip. Ended up grabbing my calipers, measuring everything, converting to metric, and searching the web for a solution. Found the perfect size replacement except the top hole was too large, but found the correct one to fit the top, cut it off and locked it into place inside the large hole. Installed on the car, drove super aggressively and everything looks great!

 

No, I'm one of the few people that have never been on FB, however bet there are some awesome cars!!!

 

I joined because I wanted to sell a Tractor on Market Place.

I don’t know if I mentioned this yet; Emily’s dad is not only letting Amanda have some of our late friend’s ashes, but he even bought a small urn for her! We are meeting him at the condo this Thursday to collect the ashes.

I personally, have no desire to keep any relative or friends ashes.
But that's just me. I see nothing wrong with it. It's just not something I really want as a keep sake.

But it is nice her father is sharing her ashes. Especially if it helps you/Amanda heal.

 

More for Amanda than me; I have my dog Mandy’s ashes though. I don’t know if we were talking back in 2018-2019, but in September 2018 we adopted an 11-week old Corgi/Lab mix who had a congenital kidney defect. We ended up having to put her to sleep in July 2019, when she was barely a year old. Most heartbreaking experience of life thus far!

I've been a member since 2010. But never really got active until 2020(ish)

I've had a few dogs over the years.
I'm not going to lie, I wasn't the best owner.
2 of them ultimately ended up with heartworms.
And I gave the other one away after I learn the other 2 had heartworms.

I learned a hard lesson.
And that I will NEVER own another pet unless I have time to care for them properly.

We had a lot of dogs when we were kids. And those all worked out great.
But as an adult, I was a "bad human". Lesson learned.
Until I can care for a pet "properly", I don't need one.

Until then, I can just play with other peoples dogs. Like my mothers. (Yorkiepoo)

 

Did they die from heartworm?

 

Technically, No.
But that's what lead to their death, yes.
I had to have them put to sleep.

I had 2 Cocker Spaniels.
A male and a female.
The female had a littler of 9 pups.
Of the 9, 1 died. And one other "almost" died.
So I kept that pup and called him "Lucky".
The rest I gave away.

That's how I ended up with 3 dogs.
Both males (Father and son) got heartworms.
The female didn't get them.

Literally a shitty situation at Emily’s condo...

One of the neighbors had a pipe burst, which resulted in the condo flooding with contaminated water. This happened weeks after Emily died, while her dad was in Europe. Luckily, it appears that the neighbor’s insurance is paying for repairs…

 

We were there to pick up Amanda’s portion of Emily’s ashes…
