I imagine there's differences between hybrid and non hybrid Tacoma battery requirements.

Checked my 2025 SR5, non-hybrid. The factory battery part is #380LN3-MF

This Tacoma battery looks like it's an LN3. LN3 is supposedly the same as an H6 battery.

    Here's a pic of what's in mine.

Well verdict is in. They tested it. Said the battery was fine it just needs a charge. They said I would need to bring it back because they need the truck a minimum of three hours.

I may just go buy an aftermarket one.

Just wish I knew for sure it was a 24F.

IMHO that's a bullsh!t answer - a regularly driven vehicle should maintain the battery charge.

If it's not already labelled on the battery, measure it.

high failure point lately on batteries but getting a new oem battery would be the better option...
    especially if they cover-it...
Common for a cell or 2 to die-off.

Size did not match any of those exactly. When I put in the part# into google I get this. Part# 395LN4-MF

The 395LN4-MF is a battery commonly found in the non-hybrid 2024 Toyota Tacoma. It is a 12V battery with an 80 Ah capacity and a 689 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) rating. The "MF" in the model number stands for "Maintenance-Free," indicating it's a sealed, maintenance-free lead-acid battery.
Here's a breakdown of the specifications:
    • Voltage: 12V.
    • Capacity: 80 Ah (Ampere-hours).
    • Cold Cranking Amps (CCA): 689.
    • Maintenance-Free: The battery is sealed and does not require refilling with liquid.
    • Size: It's not a standard or typical battery size, but some users suggest it may be similar to a Group 49 or Group 48, .
    • Compatibility: It's specifically designed for the non-hybrid 2024 Toyota Tacoma.

Have you charged the battery at a slow rate since this thread started?

Okay, that helps. Via bing the LN4 that maps to 94R.

    See if it matches the 12.4" x 6.9" x 7.5" stated dimensions for a 94R. Also here.

I have not. I do not have anything other than a trickle charger. The dealer said they can charge it but it will take 3+ hours to do so.

Pretty darn close. Without pulling it out to get exact it is 12.25 x 7 x 7.5 (bottom of battery to top of the post which is basically top of the battery.)

I have two. One that I inherited that is at least 50 years old and still works great. I can’t imagine not having one. They come in handy.

Posted it to a different battery thread, but here's what came in my hybrid. So pretty sure you'd be safe.

    PXL_20241102_192112627.jpg

The Clarios 380LN3-MF is a maintenance-free, 12V lead-acid battery commonly used in vehicles. It is also known as H6 or DIN66, and is often found as a replacement for the 380LN3-ISS (likely meaning Intelligent Start-Stop) in vehicles with start-stop technology. These batteries are designed to be sealed and require no maintenance like adding water.
    Key Features and Specifications:

    Voltage: 12V
Type: AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) (a type of VRLA or Sealed Lead Acid battery)
Maintenance-Free (MF): No need to add water or maintain electrolyte levels.
Cold Cranking Amps (CCA): Typically higher than traditional batteries, providing strong starting power in cold weather.
Capacity: Often rated around 70Ah (Amp-hours) at a 20-hour rate.
Reserve Capacity: Usually around 120 minutes.
Size: Fits the H6 or LN3 battery box.
    Terminal Type: M8

    Its dimensions are 278 x 175 x 190 x 190mm. It's a direct replacement for the LN3 battery size.

Interstate Battery says it's an H7/94R size

That's just the version they put in the non -hybrids that has a little higher CCA and Ah, since you don't have the hybrid system to assist the startup.

While the 2024+ Tacoma isn't on the list, we know it shares it's setup with the 2022+ Tundra.

I can't really seem to locate the 2024 version of the below doc.

    https://www.toyotapartsandservice.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/03_Batteries2023_hi.pdf

Page 601 in the manual just says this (apparently 3 different batteries are used in the 4G Tacoma)
