Holy shit are you serious lol. I feel like if that happened here lawyers would be salivating over it

I get the idea of offering "wellness" opportunities, Rebecca's studio GM made a deal with my work where they are offering pilates classes here now after-hours. They send a teacher out to do mat pilates or something. But they just put up a notice in the break room saying it was available to anyone. Turning it into a office-wide challenge amongst employees seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen

Speaking of Bigger than it should be continued.
I formatted a 64gb sd card for the dash cam and it appears to be working. Well see how it goes next time I drive around, it's not the size I'd like but it's still twice the capacity I had

Yea it’s only a $200 part, it shouldn’t be too bad. I can ask my work if I can use their shop space after hours to work on it. The muffler also leaks though and I don’t have a welder to patchy that up.

That sounds like a pretty cut and dry case of harassment and defamation of character.

We get the same shit at work because we are owned by the city. Do they really need to push health and wellness on ski resort employees.

I've been stranded over night at the top of a mountain without service and it's definitely not fun. I just don't want a dang monthly subscription for something I use maybe once a year

I tried iPhone sat service last weekend. You have to find clear sky and then point your phone at a satellite. There's a little animation to guide you. It's enough to send an emergency text but far from having actual service.

I've noticed that a few times when I'm walking Dex at night around our area, I get zero cell reception where we are except up by the water reservoir near our house. Occasionally though if I'm typing up a text with no service I get a notice telling me to point my phone toward the sky to try and send messages via satellite lol.

Haven't tried it because I wasn't sure if there would be some kind of exorbitant fee attached to it or something

Yeah the first time I got the message I thought it was weird, like how am I supposed to know where your satellite is? Though I guess these days there are so many you can just point randomly and probably find one.
