Hello, I recently had a rear shock crap out on me. Top bolt sheared off and it's banging around with every little bump. I bought this vehicle used and it's got a lift. I think it's 3". The info i get from the old shock body is Oldman Emu Nitro charger sport. Is this all I need to get the proper replacements for the rear or am I expecting it to be too simple. If the lift is 2" would it make any difference? Thanks in advance. Mike

    Usually a 3" lift means 3 front 1-2 rear.

If you can try to take and attach a picture of the leaf spring where it meets the rear axle and we can help you.

A simple bilstien 5100 can handle 1" of rear lift and most shops have them in town, it would be the fastest resolution.

With rear shocks you can run a massive lift on stock shocks, you just don't have down travel, so its not as critical to match the shock perfectly.

So if you can read the shock number that's all you need but I would replace both at the same time.
