Part of the drum brakes. Did you loose a brake cylinder or axle seal?

That is the spring holding the bottom of the shoes together. If you haven't put it back together yet. Pull the axle and put a new axle seal in there just in case. Cheap insurance. But if you're anything like me just slap it all back together.:)

^Not quite OEM quality. Modern OEM cardboard fender liners have a carpet texture for noise abatement.

At least it didn't happen on the trail, in a foreign country, in 35C heat, while Jeepers watched...

the drum has threaded holes that you can put a m8x1.25 bolt in it to press the drum off the hub. You still might have to back off the parking brake shoes to clear the rust ridge to remove the drum.

I have now fully used and tested the Road Active suspension upgrade.

100% can confirm it's worth. Less then $1K, 1 hour install per side to figure it out. Can take it off in less than 30mins anytime.

This corrected the butt sagging on my rig with the trailer on and loaded, the bed box has 400lbs of kit in it for working.

    Looks perfect to me.

    Check build thread!
Every time I see your truck I'm reminded of how badly I want a ARB/ARB style front bumper.

Ya I was lucky enough to be able to wedge the older style ARB onto my 2nd gen. Took some modifications to the truck, but I love the look of it.

She is nice and snug, no big ARB stick out.

Haha at least I don't see mine as sticking out very much. Dunno how you gents see it.
