Just got a new A.R.E. MX topper thrown on yesterday! If anyone is in the Denver area, I'd highly recommend Suburban Toppers. This is my second time going through them and they are absolutely top notch!

I decided to swap out the winch shackle for a hook that folds over.

Are you ambers bright in use? Mine seem pretty dim until I use them as a turn signal

The factory turn signal bulbs that come in the Tacoma are halogen bulbs, and not very bright. The Lasfit led bulbs are much brighter.

Oh yeah I swapped mine out to Lasfit. They’re extremely bright once used as my turn signal as well as when locking and unlocking the vehicle but when ran with DRL they’re significantly more dim. Wasn’t sure if that was normal

You don’t agree the Lasfit led bulbs are brighter than the halogen?

That’s not what I’m saying. They are in certain instances, but what I’m wondering is if these may be defective because when not being used as a signal or during the locking/unlocking of the truck they are not bright whatsoever. So I was trying to get some insight on whether or not others have had that same experience.

Added the RekGen mudflaps, super easy install and hopefully some added protection for the dirt roads I drive daily. I am assuming these will come off when I head off-road or they will be removed for me.

The parking lights don’t get full power when they’re on steady, but the directionals flash at full power… it’s normal, those lights aren’t the DRL on the new tacomas, the headlights are…

Hahaha that’s the one thing I hate about these trucks… wish the directionals were the DRLs, I hate that the headlights are..
