    Ordered a new tailgate lock actuator. Going to the dealer tonight after werk to pick it up so I can install it tonight or tomorrow morning.

    It worked yesterday one of the threads I read that had a guy with similar issues said that solved it.

    Yeah it is. Since the tailgate uses a button to open theres really not any force being applied to it when opening the tailgate
