I’m just hoping one of us decided to drive into the parking lot in old forge, and was like, I’m not leaving until you scan this part of the carpet.

Standard Butyl deadening is fine. But we aware that what "big deadener" doesn't want you to know is that wallpapering a vehicle does very little. A butyl deadener reduces resonance and vibration of large panels that lack significant definition. Panels with a decent amount of shape are sturdy and do not tend to vibrate as much, large panels that don't have many beads or curves move like a speaker cone.

My recommendation with a butyl dampener is to use squares of it in the middle of panels that don't sound as solid when you knock on them. And keep them a decent distance from the drain plugs and trim to prevent fit issues. But adding it to the tunnel area and the main floor boards is fine.

Glad someone has finally said this outside of me. I see people wasting this stuff like crazy. Even audio shops go nuts with it. Any time I try and explain, I get a ration.

Update, We are working with 2 people that have been provided the floor to install on their own, we are waiting for detailed feedback.
One thing that we are assuming based on our observations is that the lower A-pillar or kick panel trim is generally hard to reinstall even if not during an Armorlite install. We tried to document this as best we can in instructions, we also decided to start including replacement clips as well. Anyone else have issues with removing and replacing this trim for various other installs?

I can say that this panel is indeed hard to reinstall even totally OEM.

    Just getting started.
Yup, and including extra clips is a great move.

I hate dealing with those panels. Getting the angled clips to line up properly is a giant PITA.

    Lots of reading here.

    My eyes don't work.

Mine has been floppy forever. What’s the story with the manual trans? Any scans happen yet?
