Holy cow, why am I not getting notified of replies to this thread!

    Sorry about that.

I cannot say that they will fit as they have only ever been tested against Factory and Morimoto. Its certainly possible they will fit, I even think it is likely, but I cannot make any promises without test fitting.

Shoot me a message, maybe we can talk more about this.

@Firn, or anyone else that’s encountered this damage. Do you have any suggestion or printed solutions for a broken lower inside tab that doesn’t get bolted?

See pics below that hopefully depict the issue more clearly than me description.

Yes, it's actually quite common. In fact another member here was asking for some replacements as I do have a set designed. Unfortunatly my design is only for the LED lights, not halogen, as I was hoping to have it fit both.

I do have the STLs out there some where. Unfortunatly this has not been a big priority to make fit the halogens or print as it takes FOREVER to print these.

In short what you do is cut the old one off completely and glue the new piece over the small bit of the old one that remains. Plenty strong if printed right, but printing it was like 13 hours per light...

Understood. I think I take one of the replacement tabs that I didn’t need and see if I can scab it in on that lower section. Hopefully with some sanding I can get it close enough.

Good to know you make a piece for that area on the LEDs. Opens up some items I’ve been looking at on fleabay.

I know it was asked on here before, ‘Do these tabs work on Alpharex headlights?’
    The answer: YES!
Kyle (@Fern) was nice enough to send me a set of reinforcement tabs to test fit. I had 0 issues with the top 2 tabs on my Alpharex headlights. The lower tab, closest to the fender did not fit, however. I asked Kyle this question, but I think I know the answer. Since my headlights are new and that tab was not broken, I think that is why there was a fitment issue. The other could be the slight difference between oem and these aftermarket parts.
Thanks Kyle for letting me test these tabs out. I have all the confidence that these will strengthen the ‘factory’ tabs and save my expensive headlights from getting all jittery!
Edit: Be sure to use clamps during install so there is minimal space between the factory tabs and reinforcement tabs. JB Weld says wait 15 mins but I would wait 30-45 before removing clamps/installing.

How about a similar solution for fog lights?
