I thought Toyota discontinued the 3rd gen long bed mat awhile ago? I remember they got really hard to find about a year and a half ago then just seem to disappear

One thing to note on the above link is there is a new long bed mat part number. Not sure why that is.

    • Manufacturer:Toyota
    • Part Number:pT90C-35230-02
    • Replaces:pT580-35050-LB

Good to know. I am keeping my 9 year old PT580-35050-LB then.

BTW, those with a PT580-35050-LB, that might be thinking of a 4th Gen should keep this thread in mind.

Don't know if it matters, but I bought the short bed version. So maybe it's the same thing with short bed?

Didn’t Toyota stop making turd gen bed mats last year?

I bought a $50 "stall mat" from Tractor Supply. 6ft by 4 ft, I cut to size and it has worked well. If you are unhappy with what Toyota sent you, return it and get the stall mat even though it does not have "TOYOTA" embedded ... my humble opinion.

I think I'm just gonna use what they sent me. Seems like a huge hassle to ship it back, I think it'll work fine.

My Dee Zee mat is really solid. I think I prefer it to the Toyota part.

Do not over think it. It is just a rubber bed mat for throwing things on top of.

Quite. Tractor Supply stall mat for $50 ... thick rubber, nothing fancy.

    i'm hoping it's not for 4th gen.

what i see as 4th gen is PT90C-35241-02

i see PT90C-35230-02 is showing as for 05-23, and most places say out of stock or unavaialble.
smithtown toyota says that part number replaced PT580-35050-LB.

i just bought a couple (one for work and one for camping), so i guess i'll find out.....

I have the factory one and hate it. Pain in the ass the sweep out. I like the one you posted better.

It fits really good in my bed. I'm not sure how 3rd and 4th differ in bed size though.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Totally agree.

Looks nice, nice and heavy. But when loading up heavy boxes I have to remove the mat or fold it over towards the cab so the boxes can slide on the bed surface.

Toyota doesn't make stuff like spark plugs either, but there are OEM stamped versions.

They contract out items to be made for these trucks. All manufacturers do.
